In the future all updates about the UCGO Remake will be posted on the new blog. Updates about the old game client and server will still be posted on this blog.

It is now possible to use the new MS colors.

Those who have not yet installed the update should install it now. Otherwise you will not be able to see players using the new MS colors and your game might crash.

The new game client update is now available for download.

This update adds new colors for the following MS:

EF: Zanny, RX-75, RGM-79L, RGM-79C, RGM-79(g), GM Head, RX-79G, G-3

Zeon: Zaku2S, MS-09, MSM-07, MSM-07E, MS-14A, MS-14B, MS-14S

NOTE: The new MS colors will be displayed in the factory window but it will not be possible to craft them until the next server update. The server will be updated on Sunday or Monday.

For english players: At the request of the PSGM there’s a new rule. “Ranting” might get you banned, such as chat spamming, foul language etc… TALK NORMALLY IN PUBLIC CHAT!

Later this week or next week I will release a game client update with new MS colors.

About donations/payment for the server; this has been taken care of and it will not be necessary. This server will probably continue to exist for a few more years.

The remake of  the client is currently on hold. I will be busy working on a commercial game project so right now I have other things to do. The remake has not been cancelled but its future is undecided, maybe it will be done or maybe not.

The server is online again and I have arranged some surprises for those who cheat in the future.

The server has been reset to yesterday in order to undo some of the things the cheaters did.

Below you can see a picture of the RX-78 Gundam in Richmond using the new game engine. The Gundam hasn’t been colored yet which is why it is gray. I just wanted to post this so players can see it is possible to get MS from UCGO into the new game engine.

Don’t cheat! It will be found out.

Currently I’m working on extracting the 3D models for weapons. Since we’re remaking the game it will be possible to have more “interesting” textures on the weapons instead of just one color like it is now. I have included some pictures below showing I have extracted the MS-14 rifle and it looks correct and exactly like in the game. And how it e.g can be made camouflage textured.

I was thinking that if everything goes well and a new client is made, I should release the models for weapons and MS so that players could submit their own texture suggestions for use in the game.
