About my previous suggestion; letting players mine FL and FTCC in Newman/Richmond. I have decided to not go through with it, probably wouldn’t have much effect anyway.
However I have made another decision about Newman/Richmond. It would seem that EF players usually don’t bother to show up when those cities belong to Zeon. But they do show up when defending the cities.
So I will add a limit to how long a faction can own a city and when that limit is reached the city will automatically change faction.
– Zeon owns Richmond for 3 hours.
– They win the warfare and owns Richmond for another 3 hours.
– After 1 hour Richmond will automatically change faction to EF.
And now for something else…
As we all know the terrain in UCGO is really boring, flat desert almost everywhere. Editing the terrain in UCGO is actually very easy, just need to create a program for doing it … and that’s what I’m going to do.
It won’t be possible to add things such as trees or other landscape details. But it is possible to make the terrain hilly, similar to what you see in Tasmania, at least it’s better than a flat desert everywhere.
And also: Merge Space Engagement and Ground Engagement into one skilled called Engagement.
Hardly anyone, or nobody, cares to train a space character anyway.
